Motivation - A Checklist
Can one always feel motivated? To me, motivation comes from within but it does not always present itself. We might have to dig in, to pull out just a little bit to help us get through the day. Sometimes a random something can help bring out the best of motivation one could ask for.
What about days that you don’t feel driven. Well, that’s
when a plan comes into place. A plan or schedule helps me get through things
that need to be done with or without the drive. This helps me kick start and
move me forward just a little bit and keeps me going, from then on.
I don’t already have a plan in place. But I do know the
things I need to do. So today, I’m just going to jot down the tasks that I was
able to get done, as today was being one of those days! Seeing the tasks
getting ticked off might just bring out the inspiration for tomorrow. I think
this might help me draft my plan for such coming days.
The tasks completed today might be random and not thought of
much. Nevertheless, they did get completed and I was able to check it off my
list of things that ought to be done. Well, that is a start. Small tasks
getting accomplished sets the tone to help pull through to bigger tasks that
need more focus and time.
I opened this page to just jot down a thought and here I am
half way through a page of words that flew out of my head and I suppose, that
just motivated me!
